The Llaeth Cymreig (Welsh Milk) co-operative was founded in 2000 by 6 dairy farmers. By 2012 the company had around 100 members, with the profits returned to our dairy farmers in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
Owned by its members, Llaeth Cymreig supplies local milk to local and national suppliers. We aim to get the best deal for our farmers in a challenging marketplace.
Based in the heart of Ceredigion, Llaeth Cymreig has a family ethos, with the three directors farming their own herds in the Llandysul area. Our cows graze the rolling hills and lush pastures of the three counties, producing delicious local Welsh fresh milk.
Our investment in the latest transport and transfer technology shows our commitment to the future of the local farmers, and our dedication to efficiency and sustainability.

For Our Members
Run by our members, for our members. Our focus is the dairy farmer.
We aim to be straightforward and transparent in all our activities with members. We are dedicated to ensuring a profitable and sustainable future for milk producers.
It can be difficult for the dairy farmer to plan ahead. We work together, investing in the future. We keep our costs and overheads low, and return the profits to the farmers. We do this without compromising the high standard of service we offer our farmers and our milk customers.
Welsh Milk – it’s what we do!
